Coconut-Pecan Filling and Frosting*

1 12-ounce can evaporated milk

1 1/2 cups sugar

3/4 cup butter

4 eggs yolk, slightly beaten

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

17-ounce bag coconut

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans, toasted

步骤

Mix milk, sugar, butter, egg yolks, and vanilla in large saucepan

Cook and stir on medium heat about 12 minutes or until thickened and golden brown

Remove from heat

Stir in coconut and pecans

Beat until cool and of spreading consistency
