Name: Fay Wray-ish
Ingredients: 45ml/1.5oz Cognac; 15ml/0.5oz Rhum Agricole Blanc; 22,5ml/0.75oz Banana Liqueur; 22,5ml/0.75oz Lemon Juice; 7,5ml/0.25oz Demerara Syrup; HOW: Shake all with crushed ice / Dump in glass / Fill up glass with ice / Garnish.; Inspired by the ‘FAY WRAY’ of Matthew Belanger (Donna, NYC). Originally the base was split between Cognac and Rhum Barbancourt, and acidity came from Lime juice. I pulled the concept closer to Cognac and used Lemon Juice, but the general idea stayed the same.; Essentially it’s very close to a Mai Tai in build and spirit, but with a completely different flavor profile.
