1 big pinch salt (plus more to taste)
1 small clove garlic (optional)
1 whole chipotle pepper (from can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, see Notes)
1 teaspoon adobo sauce (from can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce)

For the Blender: Add all ingredients to blender and blend until completely smooth. Taste and adjust as needed. Serve immediately or refrigerate until chilled.For a Bowl & Whisk: Finely chop chipotle pepper and mince garlic. Add all ingredients to bowl and whisk until combined. Taste and adjust as needed. Serve immediately or refrigerate until chilled.
