Name: Passionfruit Rum Swizzle
Ingredients: 60ml/2oz Aged Jamaican Rum; 30ml/1oz Lime Juice; 20-30ml/0.66-1oz Simple Syrup; 1 passionfruit; HOW: Put everything in a glass filled 2/3 with crushed ice / Swizzle / Top with more ice / Garnish.; A simple cocktail, but sheesh, still one of the most fun to create when you easily want to bust out exciting drinks for yourself or others.; This cocktail is essentially a ‘Fresh Passionfruit Daiquiri over crushed ice’, swizzled in stead of shaken. I personally love using an aged Jamaican Rum here, since that marriage of signature Jamaican Funk, its fruitiness and the barrel influence really hit a sweet spot for me.; That being said, in the end this is the type of cocktail that would work with Tequila, Gin and many other base spirits as well, even Cognac and Passionfruit like each other a lot!

A simple cocktail, but sheesh, still one of the most fun to create when you easily want to bust out exciting drinks for yourself or others.

This cocktail is essentially a ‘Fresh Passionfruit Daiquiri over crushed ice’, swizzled in stead of shaken. I personally love using an aged Jamaican Rum here, since that marriage of signature Jamaican Funk, its fruitiness and the barrel influence really hit a sweet spot for me.
