A twist on Phil Ward’s Elder Fashion cocktail

Another suggestion from me that Gin OF twists are great

I remember finding in bars customers would often ask what the colourful cocktails where. This one allows for some tasty hibiscus which compliments the gin and elderflower whilst also being a popular one with guests

The infusion is a fave of mine since it’s quick, easy and dried hibiscus stores well

For the infusion I go 5:1 by volume (roughly since it’s easier) and then leave for about 20 mins. Adjust this based on your taste of how strong of a hibiscus note you want. Try not to leave toooo long. I easily remove the hibiscus from the liquid using a cocktail fine strainer

60ml/2oz Hibiscus infused gin

22.5ml/0.75oz Elderflower liqueur

2 dash orange bitters
