Buttercream Icing Recipe

American Buttercream

1 pound or 2 cups unsalted butter at room temperature

2 lbs or 4 cups powdered sugar

2-4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

In a mixer add the butter and let it whip 5 minutes add vanilla and salt allow to mix for 1 minute. Then add in gradually the sugar mix with heavy cream. Once these all have been combine it allow to mix for 2-3 more minutes. Your all set.
