Hangover Dumpling Soup

ok I can’t be the only one that doesn’t crave greasy food when I’m hungover right ??? all I want is light, brothy comfort foods ??
I often end up reaching for the instant ramen but this dumpling soup is easy enough to make even when you’ve had one (or ten) too many & trust me it’s everything your tastebuds & fragile lil body need x
ingredients (serves 1)
6 frozen dumplings
300ml vegetable stock
1 clove of garlic, minced
1cm ginger, grated
1 spring onion, roughly chopped (save greens for topping)
large handful of leafy greens (I used pak choi)
1 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce)
1 tsp agave (or maple syrup)
1 tsp black vinegar (or rice vinegar)
pinch of msg (optional)
1 tsp sesame oil
crispy chilli oil (optional)
Hướng dẫn
fry off the garlic, ginger & spring onion in a saucepan for about 30 seconds to a minute until aromatic
stir in the stock, tamari, agave, black vinegar, msg & sesame oil
bring to a simmer then add your dumplings & cook for about 4 minutes (or according to packet instructions)
about 1 minute before the wontons are done, add your greens
serve immediately, topped with crispy chilli oil if using
