1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 ½ cups orzo pasta

1 can crushed tomatoes (14 oz)

1 tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper

4 cups water or broth

Grated cheese (for topping)

In a pan, sauté onion and garlic. Add ground beef and brown.

Stir in tomatoes, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes.

In a baking dish, mix meat sauce with orzo and broth.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35–40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Top with cheese and serve hot.
