I ran into Dominick during one of my first visits to The Block. He was kind enough to come and introduce himself, admitting that he has seen my videos for years, and gave me the ol’ “What the fuck are you doing here?”

This is when I got to proudly tell him I’m a local now and live just around the corner from this joint, which was then promptly followed by a “hell yeah” and a round of shots.

The Block is considered to be one of the hardest reservations to get in the area—but thanks to Dom, I’ve never had to worry about it.

THE HOUNDSTOOTH

75oz | 22.5ml orgeat

1oz | 30ml egg white (or 4-5 dashes of a foamer)

1oz | 30ml lemon juice

2oz | 60ml @gunpowder.gin citrus gin

2 orange slices

Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin, add ice, shake thoroughly to properly aerate and emulsify the cocktail. Double strain into a rocks glass with an ice block. Garnish with a dehydrated orange wheel.
