Crispy Roasted Brussels Sprouts

• 1 lb of brussels sprouts (trimmed) sea salt to taste _ 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice

1 tbsp of grated parmesan cheese or shaved fresh parsley leaves to taste

extra-virgin olive oil to taste freshly ground black pepper to taste _ ⅔ tsp of lemon zest • 1 tbsp of fresh thyme leaves • a pinch of red pepper flakes

Hướng dẫn

Step 1 Preheat the oven to 425° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2 _ Slice the Brussels sprouts in half, toss with drizzles of olive oil and pinches of salt and pepper, and spread on the baking sheet.

Step 3 • Roast 20 to 30 minutes or until tender and golden brown around the edges.

Step 4 If desired, toss the roasted Brussels sprouts with the lemon juice, zest, Parmesan, and thyme leaves.

Step 5 Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes.
