Carrot Cake

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups sugar

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 teaspoons cinnamon

½ teaspoon salt

4 eggs

1½ cups vegetable oil

3 cups grated carrots

1½ cups chopped pecans (optional)

Hướng dẫn

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9×13 pan or two 8-inch round pans.

In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

Add eggs and oil; stir until fully combined.

Fold in grated carrots and pecans, if using.

Pour batter into prepared pan(s).

Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool completely before frosting.

Make-Ahead Tip:

Once cooled, wrap cake layers tightly and freeze. Thaw and frost the day of serving for an easy, stress-free dessert.

Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

2 (8-oz) blocks cream cheese, softened

½ cup (1 stick) butter, softened

4 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.

Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix until creamy.

Frost cooled (or thawed) cake.
