  • 1 ¼ hrnek oleje

  • 1 hrnek třtinového cukru

  • 1 ½ lžičky vanilkového extraktu

  • 2 hrnky polohrubé mouky

  • 2 lžičky sody

  • 2 lžičky prášku do pečiva

  • ½ lžičky soli

  • 2 lžičky skořice

  • 3 hrnky nastrouhané mrkve (nahrubo)

  • 1 hrnek sekaných pekanových ořechů (nebo vlašských)

Poleva

  • ½ hrnku másla

  • 220 g Philadelphia (2 balení)

  • 1 ½ hrnku moučkového cukru

  • 1 lžička vanilkového extraktu

  • 1 hrnek sekaných pekanových ořechů

Hướng dẫn

1. Prepare the Oven and Pan

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.

2. Make the Batter

In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, vegetable oil, sugar, and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.

Fold in grated carrots and chopped pecans.

Pour batter evenly into the prepared pan.

3. Bake

Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Remove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.

4. Make the Frosting

In a medium bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese until smooth.

Add confectioners’ sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy.

Stir in chopped pecans if desired.

Spread frosting over the cooled cake.
