Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles

1 lb (450 g) ground beef

8 oz spaghetti or lo mein noodles

2 tbsp sesame oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

½ cup soy sauce

⅓ cup brown sugar

1 tbsp cornstarch

½ cup beef broth

1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

2 green onions, chopped

1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Cook noodles, drain, and set aside.

In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, and cornstarch.

In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, cook until browned.

Add garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Cook 1–2 minutes.

Pour in sauce, stir, and simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened.

Toss in noodles and green onions. Mix to coat evenly.

Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
