6 Tbsp soy sauce , regular
3 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp rice wine
0.5 cup Sprite (alternatively , 7 Up or other carbonated lemon-lime soda could be used.)
1 Tbsp minced garlic
2 tsp minced ginger
2 tsp sesame oil
ground black pepper

Make chicken marinade, and marinade overnight
Cook chicken without the marinade and glaze with reduced leftover marinade
