Char Siu Beef Slider Buns

1/3 cup (125g) char siu sauce

1/4 cup (60ml) rice wine vinegar

2 tablespoons sriracha

1 tablespoon lemongrass paste

1 tablespoon ginger paste

2 cloves garlic, crushed

2 teaspoons fish sauce

2 teaspoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon caster (superfine) sugar

1 large onion (200g), halved, sliced

1kg (21b) piece beef chuck steak

8 slider buns (320g)

300g packet Asian-style coleslaw

Yöntemler

1 Combine char siu sauce, vinegar, sriracha, lemongrass paste, ginger paste, garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce and sugar in a small bowl.

2 Heat a 6-litre (24-cup) pressure cooker. Place onion in cooker and top with beef; pour over the sauce. Bring mixture to the boil over medium heat. Secure lid. Bring cooker to high pressure. Reduce heat to stabilise pressure. Cook for 45 minutes.

3 Release pressure using the quick release method. Remove lid. Transfer beef to a plate; shred meat using two forks.

Return shredded beef to cooker; stir through sauce to coat.

4 To serve, fill slider buns with char siu beef and slaw.
