Teriyaki Burgers

Ground Beef: 3/4 lb (12 oz).
Bottled Teriyaki Sauce: ~6 Tbsp total, strictly divided:
2 Tbsp for mixing into the meat.
4 Tbsp for the glaze (keep in a separate clean bowl).
Fresh Garlic: 2 medium cloves, finely minced.
Garlic Powder: 3/8 tsp (roughly 1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp).
Onion Powder: 3/8 tsp.
Black Pepper: ~1/4 tsp.
วิธีทำ
Prep: Line a rimmed cookie sheet with foil and place an oven-safe cooling rack on top. Lightly grease the rack.
Form: Gently mix the beef with the 2 Tbspof sauce and spices. Divide into 3 patties (4 oz each) or 4 smaller patties (3 oz each). Press a thumbprint divot into the center of each to prevent bulging.
Bake: Place on the rack and bake at 400°Ffor 12–15 minutes, or until an internal temperature of 160°F is reached.
Finish: If adding cheese, place it on the burgers during the last minute of baking.
Rest and Glaze: Let them sit for 3 minutes before serving. Brush with the reserved clean sauce after resting. This ensures the sauce used for glazing has not come into contact with raw meat.
