Cheese-Topped Corn Bread

2 cups flour
2 cups yellow cornmeal
1/4 cup sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups buttermilk
8 ounces melted, unsalted butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
วิธีทำ
Heat oven to 350; butter 9x13 pan
Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda
Combine buttermilk, 1/2 cup water, butter and eggs
Make a well in flour mixture and stir in buttermilk til moistened
Spread in prepared pan; sprinkle with cheese
Bake 25-30 minutes
