California Breakfast Pudding

1 cup oatmeal uncooked
1/4 cup dry milk powder (or 3/4 cup skin milk; use only 1 cup water)
1/4 cup chopped dates
2/3 cup applesauce
1/2 cup lemon lowfat yogurt
2 oranges chopped (2 cups)
1 sliced banana
3 tablespoons sliced almonds
Other fruit, optional
วิธีทำ
Combine 1 3/4 cups water, oats, dry milk and dates (can microwave 4-6 minutes)
Bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium
Cook 1 minute for quick oats, 5 for old-fashioned, stirring occasionally
Remove from heat
Add applesauce and yogurt, mixing til smooth
Gently stir in oranges and bananas; top with almonds
Serve garnished with optional fruit
