Oatmeal and Currant Scones

1-1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut in pieces
1/4 cup dried currants
1/2 cup whipping cream
วิธีทำ
Heat oven to 425
Butter a baking sheet
Combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder and salt
Cut the butter into flour mixture til resembles coarse meal
Stir in currants
Stir in heavy cream until the mixture forms large crumbs
Gather into a ball
Knead on floured surface just til combined, about 30 seconds
Pat dough into 8" round and cut into 8 triangles
Transfer triangles to prepared baking sheet
Bake for 10 minutes, until bottoms are golden
Transfer to rack and cool
Serve with orange marmalade
