BACARDI, rum cake

Ingredienser

1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

1 yellow cake mix or butter pecan cake mix

1 3 & 3/4oz vanilla pudding mix

4 eggs

½ cup cold water

½ cup Oil

½ cup Bacardi dark rum

Glaze:

¼ Ib. butter (1stick)

¼ cup water

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup Bacardi dark rum

Instruktioner

Preheat oven to 350. Butter or oil and flour 9x13 glass baking dish.

Sprinkle chopped nuts over bottom of pan.

Mix all cake ingredients together.

Pour batter over nuts in pan.

Bake one hour.

Set on rack to cool.

Invert on serving plate.

Prick top.

For glaze, melt butter in saucepan.

Stir in water and sugar.

Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Stir in rum.

Drizzle and brush glaze evenly over top and sides

Anteckningar

You can also use 12 cup Bundt pan or other metal pan. Just preheat oven to 325 instead.
