Cream Cheese Frosting for Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredienser

8 oz softened cream cheese

1-3 cups powdered sugar

2-3 tsp vanilla

1 tbsp old coffee or espresso

Instruktioner

Beat cream cheese in a bowl until fluffy and add in the powdered sugar slowly until incorporated. Add in vanilla and add in enough of the coffee to help make the mixture spreadable. Top on cinnamon rolls.

Mom adds some butter (1 stick) in hers and I think on occasion heavy cream. I have no idea of the amount of sugar I use because I always do it to taste. I try to make it were there is a slight sweetness and a hint of coffee because you are adding this to a cinnamon roll which has a lot of sugar. It helps balance it out.
