This Dumpling Hack Is Genius

Ingredienser

Dumpling wrappers or wonton wrappers

1 1/2 tbsp oil

1 lb ground pork

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 to 2 tsp sesame oil

3 cloves grated garlic

2 tsp fresh ginger, or ginger powder

1/4 cup green onions

1 tbsp cornstarch

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp white or black pepper

2–3 tbsp chicken broth (add gradually)

Low-sodium soy sauce, for garnish

Chili crunch, for garnish

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instruktioner

Mix together the ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, green onions, cornstarch, salt, pepper until well combined. Add the chicken broth 1 tbs at a time until it’s becomes a paste.

Form the mixture into small meatballs, and cook over medium heat for a few minutes until the bottoms start to brown slightly.

Place a wonton wrapper over each meatball and gently press and pinch it around the meat so it sticks.

Add about 1/4-1/2 cup of water to the pan, then cover with a lid and let steam for about 5-6 minutes.

Remove from heat and top with green onions, sesame seeds, soy sauce, and chili crunch. Enjoy!
