Sour Shock Tequila Lightning Shots

Ingredienser

1 cup tequila

1/2 cup lime juice

1/4 cup triple sec

1/4 cup sour mix

1 tablespoon agave syrup

1 teaspoon finely grated lime zest

Coarse salt for rimming the shot glasses

Lime wedges for garnish

Begin by preparing your shot glasses. Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of each shot glass to moisten it. Dip the rim into coarse salt to create a salted rim. Set the shot glasses aside for later use.

In a mixing pitcher, combine the tequila, lime juice, triple sec, sour mix, agave syrup, and finely grated lime zest. Use a jigger or measuring cup for accuracy.

Using a cocktail shaker, fill it with ice. Pour the mixture from the pitcher into the shaker over the ice.

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This will chill the mixture and combine the ingredients thoroughly.

Once shaken, remove the lid and strain the mixture evenly into the prepared shot glasses.

Garnish each shot glass with a lime wedge on the rim for an extra touch of flavor and presentation.
