Various Homemade Dressings

Ingredienser

¼ cup avocado oil

2 Tbsp toasted sesame oil

3 Tbsp rice vinegar

2 Tbsp soy sauce

2 Tbsp honey (or maple syrup)

1 Tbsp sesame seeds (toasted)

1 clove garlic, finely grated

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated (optional but recommended)

1 Tbsp mayonnaise (optional – for creaminess)

Instruktioner

Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl or shake well in a mason jar.

Taste and adjust:

Sweeter → add honey

Saltier → add soy sauce

Tangier → add rice vinegar

Chill 10–15 minutes to let flavors meld.

How to Use

Asian sesame salad or slaw

Drizzle over cold noodle salads

Dip for cucumbers or dumplings

Marinade for chicken or tofu

Storage

Refrigerate up to 7 days

Cilantro Lime Dressing

Ingredients

1 cup fresh cilantro, packed (stems removed)

½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt for lighter)

⅓ cup mayonnaise

¼ cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 small garlic clove

1 tsp honey (or sugar)

½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

¼ tsp black pepper

2–4 tbsp water or milk (to thin)

Instructions

Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.

Blend until smooth and creamy.

Add water or milk a little at a time until desired consistency.

Taste and adjust salt, lime, or sweetness.

Yield

About 1½ cups total

Enough for 10–12 servings (2 tablespoons per serving)

Salads & taco bowls

Fish, shrimp, or grilled chicken

Tacos, burritos, quesadillas

Roasted veggies or rice bowls

Storage

Store in an airtight jar in the fridge

Keeps 4–5 days

Shake or stir before using

Lemon Vinaigrette (Fresh, Bright & Classic)

Ingredients

¼ cup fresh lemon juice (about 1–2 lemons)

½ cup olive oil

1 tsp lemon zest

1 Tbsp Dijon mustard

1–2 Tbsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)

1 small garlic clove, finely minced or grated

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

In a bowl or mason jar, whisk (or shake) together lemon juice, zest, Dijon, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until emulsified.

Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed.
