Spicy Caramel Sauce

• porcie: 1-1/4 cups

Ingrediencie

1 (14-ounce) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk), caramelized

2 to 4 teaspoons water

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Combine ingredients: mix well. Serve warm over ice cream. Refrigerate leftovers.

TO CARAMELIZE EAGLE BRAND:

Oven Method: Pour 1 can Eagle Brand into 9-inch pie plate. Cover with aluminum foil; place in shallow pan. Fill pan with hot water. Bake at 425° 1-1/2 hours or until caramel-colored.

Microwave**: Pour 1 can Eagle Brand into 2-quart glass measure. Cook on 50% power (medium) 4 minutes, stiring briskły every 2 minutes until smooth. Cook on 30% power (medium-low) 12 to 18 minutes or until caramel-colored, stirring briskly every 2 minutes until smooth.
