Pineapple crunch cake

Ingrediente

3/4 c milk

3 large eggs

3 tsp vanilla extract (divided. 1 tsp GOES INTO TOPPING)

1/2c softened butter

1 box white cake mix

1 - 8 oz can crushed pineapple with juice

2 - 3 oz boxes pineapple jello

20 golden Oreos crushed

1 - 8 oz block of softened cream cheese

1 1/2 c heavy whipping cream

1 c powdered sugar

Instrucțiuni

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl. Add boxed white cake mix and blend with hand mixer.

Add pineapple with juice. Mix together by hand. Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Pour batter into pan and bake for 35-40 mins.

As the cake is cooling, mix 1 BOX jello with 1 c boiling water in a small bowl. After jello mix of dissolved, add 1 c cold water.

Poke holes all over cake with the ends of wooden spoon. Pour jello over cake letting it seep into the holes. Put in fridge for 1 hour to set jello.

Mix crushed Oreos with 1/4 c melted butter and the SECOND box of pineapple jello. Spread onto lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees, or until golden.

With a hand mixer, mixed cream cheese, whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla.

Spread topping over cake then sprinkle cookie crumbles over top. Chill to store.
