Cinnamon Sugar Cream Cheese Rolls

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
4 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
Cinnamon sugar coating:
½ cup granulated sugar
1½ tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Unroll crescent dough and gently press seams together. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
Roll dough tightly into a log and slice into rolls.
Dip each roll into melted butter, then roll generously in cinnamon sugar.
Arrange in the baking dish and bake 18–22 minutes, until golden and puffed.
Best enjoyed warm, when the centers are creamy and the cinnamon sugar is perfectly gooey.
