Ginger Pork (Shogayaki)

Ingredients

Sauce Ingredients:

2 tbsp Ginger

2 tbsp Soy Sauce

1 tbsp Sake

1 tbsp Mirin

1 tbsp Dashi Powder

1 tbsp Sugar

Main Ingredients:

1 tbsp Pork Shoulder or Belly

1/2 Cup Potato/Corn Starch

1 tbsp Oil

1 Yellow Onion

Directions

Combine all sauce ingredients and set aside

Cut pork into bite sized pieces and coat evenly in starch of your choice

Pan fry pork until brown and add onion

Stir fry the pork and onion. When both are cooked, pour sauce into the pan and mix until the sauce thickens and everything is evenly coated.

Serve on a bed of rice and enjoy!
