Creamy Bourbon Chicken

1 ½ lbs boneless chicken thighs, chopped
1 tbsp oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup bourbon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4–1/3 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp butter
Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper (to taste)
Chopped green onions (for garnish)
Directions
Sear chicken in oil until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté garlic for 1 min.
Pour in bourbon and simmer 2–3 mins to burn off the alcohol.
Add butter and heavy cream — stir until it turns smooth and creamy.
Stir in brown sugar, vanilla, ketchup, hot sauce, and vinegar. Let it cook down 5–7 mins.
Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Return chicken to the pan and let it simmer in that sauce.
Plate it up and hit it with chopped green onions on top for that fresh pop.
