Cinnamon Swirl Banana Cake

Ingredients

The perfect way to use those ripe bananas you have sitting around!! This recipe uses no butter or oil in the cake mix and instead uses Greek yogurt, so it’s a little healthier but just as delicious!

3 ripe bananas

1/2 cup greek yogurt

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs + 1tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

Cinnamon swirl

3 tbsp melted butter

3 tbsp brown sugar

3 tbsp cane sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

Icing

4 tbsp cream cheese

4 tbsp room temp butter

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp cinnamon

How to:

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350F.

In a bowl mash your bananas then add in your yogurt and sugar. Mix to combine then add in your eggs and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl add all your dry ingredients and mix. Add your dry to your wet and fold to combine.

Add batter to a lined 8x8 baking dish and top with your cinnamon swirl.

Bake for 40-42 minutes. Once your cake is cooked and cooled top with icing and enjoy!

Icing

Mix your room temp butter and cream cheese then add your powdered sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix until all is combined. Transfer to a icing bag and swirl onto your
