This Bakery Style Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

1/2 cup butter (113g)
1/2 cup soft brown sugar (100g)
1/4 cup + 1/2 tbsp white caster sugar (57g)
1 large egg (room temp)
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup + 7tbsp flour (180g)
1/2 tsp instant coffee powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cornflour
1/2 tsp salt
175g semi sweet chocolate chunks
Directions
In a pan melt butter on medium heat. Continue whisking until bubbles start forming. Whisk in between and let the butter brown. As soon as butter turns brown, transfer it quickly to a bowl. Let it cool down.
After, add sugars and whisk. Add egg and vanilla and whisk. Now add all the sifted dry ingredients (flour, salt, coffee,cornflour, baking soda and baking powder) and gently fold until u see a little bit flour left. Add ur chopped chocolate chunks and fold until u dont see the flour streaks anymore. Dont overmix.
Scoop out the cookie dough and make about 75g-80g of a cookie dough balls (Tip: Make tall balls). It makes about 5 tbsp of cookie dough.
Let the cookie dough chill for 1 hour in the freezer.
Now place them on a lined baking tray 2 inches apart and Bake at a preheated oven at 180C for 11-15 mins or until u see that sides are firm and centre is still soft. Dont over bake!!!
Once cookies are out of oven, use a round bowl to reshape for perfect circle. Let them set on the tray for atleast 15 mins. Enjoy warm!!
