1 carton heavy cream (1 pint / 16 oz / 2 cups), cold
2 cans sweetened condensed milk (14 oz each, 28 oz total)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Optional: mix-ins like crushed cookies, chocolate chips, fruit, or caramel swirls
Directions
Whip the Cream
In a large mixing bowl, pour in the cold heavy cream. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the cream on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. This should take about 3–4 minutes. You’re looking for a thick, whipped texture like whipped cream.
Add the Vanilla and Sweetened Condensed Milk . Gently fold in the vanilla extract and both cans of sweetened condensed milk. Use a spatula to fold it in slowly so you don’t deflate the whipped cream — this keeps the ice cream light and airy.
Add Mix-Ins (Optional)
Fold in your desired toppings or swirls. Try:
Crushed Oreos or Biscoff cookies
Chocolate chunks
Chopped strawberries or mango
Peanut butter ribbons or dulce de leche
Freeze
Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan or freezer-safe container. Smooth the top, cover with plastic wrap or a lid, and freeze for 6 to 8 hours or overnight until fully set.
Serve
Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping. Enjoy creamy, homemade ice cream — no machine needed!
