Hoggy's Bacon Jam

Ingredients

Ingredients:

– 4 cups apple cider vinegar

– 4 cups chopped bacon

– 1 yellow onion

– 2 tablespoons minced garlic

– 2 cups honey

– 1/2 cup Dijon mustard

– 4 cups brown sugar

Directions

1. Cook the chopped bacon in a large pot until crispy. Remove and set aside.

2. In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until soft and fragrant.

3. Return the bacon to the pot and add the apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar.

4. Simmer over medium-low heat until the mixture thickens to a jam-like consistency, stirring occasionally.

5. Let cool slightly, then transfer to jars or containers.

6. Store in the refrigerator.

Notes

Great on burgers, toast, or as a dip.
