Double Cheese Mushroom Toast

Ingredients

2 slices sourdough bread

1 tbsp butter

1 garlic clove (thinly sliced)

2 cups baby Bella mushrooms (sliced)

Salt and pepper (to taste)

½ tsp dried thyme

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 fresh mozzarella ball (sliced)

½ cup Parmesan cheese (shredded (divided)

Fresh thyme leaves (for garnish (optional)

Directions

Toast the sourdough until lightly golden.

In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

Add mushrooms, salt, pepper, and thyme; cook 6–8 minutes.

Add balsamic vinegar and cook 1–2 minutes more.

Layer toast with mozzarella, half of Parmesan, mushrooms, then remaining Parmesan.

Bake at 400°F for 5–7 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish with thyme and enjoy warm.
