FLUFFY BUTTER ROLLS

Ingredients

Dough:

• 1 cup (250 ml) warm milk (not hot)

• 2 tsp (7 g) instant yeast

• 2 tbsp (30 g) sugar

-egg 1

• 1/4 cup (58 g) melted butter

• 3 1/4 cups (407 g) all-purpose flour

• 1/4 tsp salt (skip if using salted butter)

Filling:

• 1/2 cup (1 stick / 58 g) more solid butter

Topping:

• Melted butter for brushing

Egg Wash:

• 1 egg

• 2 tbsp water or milk

Directions

Roll out into a big circle and cut a cross into 16 slices. Put a knob of butter at the wide end of each triangle and roll up like a croissant. Put on a sheet pan so that they join up when cooking.

Eggwash.

160C 25 mins

Brush with melted butter while still warm.
