1 teaspoon roasted garlic and herb seasoning
1 cup (235 ml) apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon (15 ml) hot sauce tablespoon (20 g) real aaple syrup ye tasspoon Iquld smoke

Directions
1. Spray the bottom of the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray, if desired, to help with cleanup later.
2. Season the chicken pleces with the roasted garlic and herb season- ing on all sides and place them in the bottom of the slow cooker.
3. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, maple syrup, and liquid smoke.
4. Add the brown sugar, salt, paprika, and black pepper. Stir to create the sauce.
5. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
6. Cover the slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.
7. The chicken is ready to eat as is, but you can broil the chicken to impart a bit of extra browning and crispiness to the skin.
TO BROIL:
1. Set your oven to the broil setting.
2. Carefully remove the chicken from the slow cooker with tongs and place it on a rimmed baking sheet covered in parchment paper a aluminum foll. S. Place the chicken under the broller for about 3 minutes per sia turning the baking sheat hallway during cooking to make sin cooks avenly and doesn't bum. . Remove the chicken and serve

This chicken recipe has a unique and smoky flavor that comes from a little bit of liquid smoke. (Liquid smoke can be found in most grocery stores near the spices and seasonings.) Apple cider vinegar tender Les the chicken legs, and it imparts great flavor and tang. You can broil the chicken legs after they are done cooking in the slow cooker to get them a little bit crispy. If you don't have the time or patience to do this extra step, you can just skip it!
