Mama’s Banana Bread

1/3 cup avocado oil (or olive oil)
1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
2 eggs
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 1/2 medium or 2 large bananas)
1/4 cup milk of choice or water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 3/4 cups white whole wheat flour
optional: 1/2 cup mix-ins like chopped walnuts or pecans, chocolate chips, raisins, etc.
Directions
Preheat oven to 325°. Grease a pan it can be a loaf pan, but I like to do it in a larger baking dish to have a sheet cake shape instead.
Mash the bananas mix all of the wet ingredients together, then mix in the dry ingredients. Pour into your baking dish. Bake for about 50 minutes if it’s in a loaf pan I think? I think it takes about 40 minutes in a flatter wider, baking dish… But I don’t really know because I don’t always set a timer. Just take it out when that toothpick comes out clean 🙃
(I pretty much always double the recipe because it goes fast!)
