1 stick of butter
1 cup HOT water
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
3 cups flour
Directions
Stick the butter in the hot water so the butter can melt.
Once it's melted fully, add your dry ingredients. Mix it up then Knead it in the bowl for about 3-5 mins. Cover and let the gluten rest did 30 mins.
once it's rested, form little balls like i do here in the video. Cover it again for about 10 mins to rest.
preheat your pan on medium high (your pan needs to be HOT otherwise the tortillas will become hard like hockey pucks if they sit on the stove at a low heat for too long.
roll the tortillas as flat as you can get them and throw it on the HOT pan. You'll cook it for around 10-15 seconds on one side, flip it, and another 15 seconds. The key to making them is not leaving them on the stove for long.
