Raspberry Sauce
Makes ½ cup

6 ounces fresh raspberries
¼ cup granulated sugar
I teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Directions
In a small saucepan, combine the raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Mash the raspberries with a wooden spoon and cook, stirring, over medium heat for 5 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and cook until thick and jammy, 5 to 7 additional minutes. Let cool before using.

Note
* Store the raspberry sauce in a screw-top jar in the fridge for 4 to 7 days. Before using, allow to come to room temperature.
