Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

6 slices of bacon, chopped

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

2 cups fresh spinach

1 cup heavy cream

2 cloves garlic, minced

Directions

Preparing the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides and fully cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Making the Sauce

In the same skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until tender.

Stir in the minced garlic and fresh spinach, cooking until the spinach is wilted.

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, allowing the sauce to thicken.

Combining Everything

Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.

Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for a few minutes to absorb the flavors.

Serve hot, garnished with additional bacon and mushrooms if desired.
