5 Medium size Tomatoes
2tbsp Tomato Paste
3-4tbsp Cooking Oil
4 Cloves crushed garlic
4 Slices of Ginger
2 Shallots (red onion)
1pc cinnamon
1pc bay leaf
1pc star anise
4pieces white part of scallion
2tbsp sugar
1-3tsp salt
8-10cups broth
Directions
1. Dice tomatoes then Heat wok then put oil
3. Stirfry all spices garlic,ginger,scallions,bay leaf, cinnamon, star anise until fragrant
4. Add tomato paste and stir until oil becomes red/orange color then add diced tomatoes and stir while adding salt and sugar
6. Turn heat to low and stir until everything becomes red paste then Remove the spices then serve in broth to use.
