2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese
1 (16 oz) block Velveeta
32 oz heavy whipping cream
2 lbs Cellentani pasta
3 bags (8 oz each) shredded cheese (sharp cheddar, gouda, Colby Jack, etc.)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Worcestershire sauce
Optional: garlic powder, paprika, pepper jack, hot sauce, BBQ sauce, shredded chicken
Directions
Boil the Pasta:
Cook the Cellentani pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Cheese Sauce:
In a large pot over medium heat, combine heavy whipping cream, cream cheese, and Velveeta.
Stir constantly to prevent burning, scraping the bottom often.
Once smooth and fully melted, add two bags of shredded cheese of your choice. Stir until melted and creamy.
Add Flavors:
For classic flavor: Add 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard and a few splashes of Worcestershire sauce. Enhance with garlic powder and paprika if desired.
Combine:
Mix the cheese sauce thoroughly with the cooked pasta.
Baking:
Transfer the mac and cheese to a baking dish.
Top with the third bag of shredded cheese (Colby Jack recommended).
Broil until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
For variations:
Spicy: Mix in pepper jack cheese and hot sauce.
BBQ: Add BBQ sauce and shredded chicken.
Tip: Keep the base ingredients (heavy cream, cream cheese, Velveeta) consistent for the best texture
