Garlic Parmesan Grilled Chicken

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

¼ cup olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp dried Italian seasoning

Optional: extra Parmesan and parsley for garnish

Directions

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, Parmesan, parsley, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Place chicken breasts in a large zip-top bag or dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (up to 8 hours for deeper flavor).

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates.

Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6–7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Transfer to a platter and let rest 5 minutes. Garnish with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired. Serve hot.
