Ground Beef Stroganoff

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion finely chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
8 oz mushrooms sliced
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 cup sour cream
8 oz egg noodles
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Fresh parsley for garnish optional
Directions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles until al dente then drain and set aside
In a large skillet heat olive oil or butter over medium heat Add ground beef and cook until browned breaking it up as it cooks
Add onion garlic and mushrooms and cook for 5 to 6 minutes until softened
Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to coat
Pour in beef broth Worcestershire sauce paprika salt and pepper Stir well and bring to a simmer
Let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken
Reduce heat to low and stir in the sour cream until the sauce is smooth
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and stir to combine
Serve warm topped with fresh parsley if desired
