Kamut Krispies

Ingredients

3 cups puffed kamut ((dry cereal))

1/2 cup cashew butter (can sub with any favorite nut butter)

1/2 cup date syrup (or honey)

1 tbsp coconut oil

1 pinch salt

1/4 cup chocolate chips (for drizzle)

Directions

Add cashew butter, syrup, coconut oil, and salt to a large pot. Heat over low, stirring frequently, until mixture is smooth.

Remove from heat and stir in puffed kamut, mixing until well coated.

Pour mixture into a greased or lined 9x9 baking tin and press firmly into shape.

Melt chocolate and drizzle over the top of the mixture.

Place pan into the freezer for 15-20 minutes to set, prior to slicing into 12 squares.
