Perfect Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

2-5lbs Yukon gold potatoes

1-3tbs salt

2-5 tbs butter

splash of heavy cream

Directions

Peel and quarter potatoes

cover in 1-2 inches of cold water and put on stove with salt. For every two pounds of potatoes, use 1tbs salt.

bring up to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until fork tender.

drain and return to hot pot on stove.

Add one tablespoon of butter for every pound of potatoes and mash.

Add a splash of heavy cream until desired consistency is reached.
