Beef Fry

Ingredients

  1. Diced beef - 1 kg

  2. Onions - 5 nos

  3. Ginger minced - 1 inch

  4. Garlic minced - 15 pods

  5. Green chillies - 10 nos

  6. Cinnamon - 2 sticks

  7. Cloves - 6 nos

  8. Star anise - 2

  9. Saunf/fennel - 1 tsp

  10. Coriander seeds - 1 tsp

  11. Curry leaves

  12. Coriander pwd - 2 tsp

  13. Garam Masala - 1 tsp

  14. Red Chilli pwd - 1 tsp

  15. Turmeric pwd - 1/2 tsp

  16. Pepper pwd - 1.5 tsp

  17. Coconut oil

  18. Coconut slices

Directions

  1. Pressure cook diced beef with coriander pwd, red chilli owe, turmeric pwd, garam masala and salt

  2. In a kadai, heat coconut oil and add curry leaves

  3. Add sliced onions and sauté till brown, about 8-10mins

  4. Add cooked beef with water and sauté till it’s well roasted

  5. Dry fry coconut slices with very little oil and add to beef

  6. Dry roast and powder cinnamon, cloves, star anise, saunf and coriander pwd and powder them

  7. Add the powder to beef and roast well
