Directions

Melt butter and saute onion. Blend in flour gradually stir in broth. Boil for one minute. Stir in rice and salt and simmer 5 minutes. Blend in Half & Half and heat to serving temperature.

Options: garnish with parsley Add 1/3 c minced ham, 1/3c. Finely shredded carrot 3 T chopped slivered almonds
