Classic Macaroni Salad

Ingredients

4 cups uncooked elbow macaroni

1/4 cup white vinegar

2 stalks celery, chopped

1 red pepper seeded and chopped

1 green pepper seeded and chopped

1 medium onion chopped

1/4 cup grated carrot (optional)

2 large hardboiled eggs finely chopped

Salad Dressing

1 cup mayonnaise

3/4 cup sour cream

2 teaspoons yellow mustard

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon celery seed

Directions

Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add macaroni and cook according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.

In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard and seasonings together. Stir in macaroni, eggs and vegetables.

Pour into a serving bowl and refrigerate for 4 hours.
