12 Jumbo Shrimp
2 Tbs Yellow Mustard
1 Tbs Garlic Powder
1 Tbs Onion Powder
1 Tbs Tony’s Creole Seasoning
2 Cups Buttermilk
For Corn Flour Batter
2 Cups all-purpose Flour
1 1/2 Cups Louisiana Flour mix
1 Tbs Tony’s Seasoning
1 Tbs Cornstarch
1/4 tsp Allspice
Directions
Pre heat oil in a large pot to 350 degrees (Very Important!)
Rinse, peel, and remove tail from shrimp
Place shrimp in a large bowl. Coat with mustard and mix. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and Tony’s seasoning. Pour in buttermilk and lightly mix. Set inside refrigerator to marinate for 30 minutes
Mix all batter ingredients together in a bowl
Drop shrimp in the corn flour, coat well, and shake off the excess. Add shrimp to the hot oil in batches as to not overcrowd the pan
Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes until golden brown
Drain on wire rack
